Comments:

After graduating, I went into the Navy for 7 years. I spent 4 1/2 of those on the flight decks of two different aircraft carriers. Been halfway around the world twice and seen some pretty amazing stuff. I was actually deployed when the Iraq war began and my ship (USS Harry S. Truman) was a key player in that war.

After that, I was stationed overseas in Sicily for two years. There I learned a great deal about managing an airfield. It was a small one (only 2 runways), but the time I spent there was enough to get me hired on at DFW Airport to do the same thing here in the civilian world.

I did get married, but unfortunately it didn't work out (as is sometimes the case in life), so I am now divorced. No children, so it was actually pretty painless. It is just sad the way things turn out sometimes.

School Story:

Don't really have a school story, I just miss my marching band days. Those were the good old days even with all the hell I put people through and vice versa.

For some strange reason this reminds me of the Blue Raider mascot. This was taken in Caltagirone, Sicily.
