I can't believe it has been this long since high school! So much has changed...
I went to TCC for 4 years trying to figure out what I wanted to do with my life. I started working with children and fell in love with it. By the time I decided to be a teacher I had met my wonderful husband, Jeff. I finished my basics at TCC and went on to TCU to get my degree in teaching. Jeff and I married the summer before I started TCU. After I graduated and got a job teaching, Jeff went back to school and finished up his degree.
After being ridiculous for too many years, Jeff and I realized how we had wasted our lives so far and ignored God. Thanks to His grace we made it with few reprocussions. We still live in Hurst and now both teach (he teaches 7th English and I teach 1st). We are active members of a small church in Hurst. Jeff and I are waiting to start a family because once we do, I plan to stay home with the kiddos.
The most important part of our lives are that we are both now serving the Lord as we should have been all along. I can't even look back at my life and not be terribly embarassed at how I acted! What a merciful Savior to save even someone as wretched as me!
