Julie Jones Ouellette

After graduation, 1999, I immediately began my studies at TCU in Fort Worth. I received my Bachelor's of Music Education in 2003. I came back to good 'ol HEB and began as the assistant choir director at Central and Bedford Junior Highs. This year (2008)I moved (home) to Bell as the assistant choir director. I married a godly, wonderful man, Jason, on 7-7-7.

I will never forget being a member of the LD Bell A Cappella choir...many wonderful memories. One particular funny story I recall is one Christmas we were singing a song called "My Dancing Day" about the birth of Christ... My friend Candi and I stood next to each other (mistake)... Well this delightful little song had a line in it where we sang about a "silly poor a**" (speaking of the donkey in the stable with baby Jesus). We laughed and laughed and laughed EVERY time we rehearsed the song...good times...
